Job Description:
As an Email Marketing Specialist at TradeFlock, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns that engage our diverse audience. You will leverage tools like YAMM, G Suite, and Mail Merge, Bulk mail to create personalized and high-impact email campaigns that resonate with our subscribers. Your role will require creativity, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Campaign Creation & Management: Design and implement email campaigns using YAMM (Yet Another Mail Merge), G Suite, Bulk Mail, and Mail Merge to deliver personalized, targeted messages to our audience, ensuring high engagement rates.
- Audience Segmentation: Use Google Sheets and YAMM to segment audiences based on data points such as behavior, demographics, and engagement history. Tailor content to specific segments for better response rates.
- Email List Management: Maintain and manage email lists through Google Sheets, ensuring they are clean, up-to-date, and properly segmented to avoid bounces and improve deliverability.
- Campaign Tracking & Optimization: Monitor the performance of email campaigns through Google Analytics and G Suite tools. Conduct A/B testing of subject lines, content, and CTAs to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Automation & Workflows: Set up automated workflows using YAMM and G Suite, including welcome emails, drip campaigns, and lead nurturing series, ensuring timely follow-ups and ongoing audience engagement.
- Personalization & Mail Merge: Use Mail Merge techniques in G Suite to personalize mass emails, addressing individual recipients by name, location, or other relevant data points to drive higher engagement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed reports on email campaign performance and identify trends and areas for improvement. Share insights with the marketing team to optimize future campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in email marketing, specifically using YAMM, G Suite, and Mail Merge.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, especially for list management, segmentation, and analysis.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and tools (e.g., YAMM, G Suite, Google Analytics, and Mail Merge) for designing.
- Excellent understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, subject line crafting, and call-to-action strategies.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail to create visually appealing and effective email content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise, and engaging messaging.
- Experience in project management and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with email automation tools and integrations within G Suite.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and email optimization techniques.
- Experience working in the publishing, media, or business industries.
